{"id":573,"date":"2013-09-23T02:21:23","date_gmt":"2013-09-23T02:21:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bandishaum.wordpress.com\/?p=573"},"modified":"2013-09-23T02:21:23","modified_gmt":"2013-09-23T02:21:23","slug":"harvest-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bandischaum.org\/?p=573","title":{"rendered":"Harvest Celebration!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From Brennan, who is planning the festivities:<\/p>\n<div>Saturday, September 28th at 5 pm\u00a0we will all be meeting at the community garden to celebrate what I hope was a successful growing season for everyone!<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Around\u00a06pm\u00a0Isaac Hill will arrive and start playing Appalachian music for everyone&#8217;s entertainment. I am waiting to hear back from another performer to see if we will have multiple musicians for the evening.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0The event will last until sundown or everyone leaves.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0This is a potluck event with 5 categories.<\/div>\n<div>1&#8211; finger food and appetizers<\/div>\n<div>2&#8211; main dish<\/div>\n<div>3&#8211; dessert<\/div>\n<div>4&#8211; drinks<\/div>\n<div>5&#8211; plates,silverware,napkins,trash bags<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Not everyone who plans on attending needs to being a food dish but we would appreciate a bit of help with set up and break down or assistance keeping category 5 stocked.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0I don&#8217;t know exactly how we can stay in touch so that everyone doesn&#8217;t bring the same category but usually pot lucks work out fine with enough people.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0If you would like to grill on site we ask that you bring your own small grill and clean it up at the end of the event.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Alcohol is allowed at the gathering as long as it is brought for personal consumption. Please remember that this is a family friendly event.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0Also, please remember to mark what you have brought.
