Welcome back to another year of gardening!\u00a0 Plans are well underway to make this a successful gardening year, despite the end of our partnership with Grow Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n
We are in the process of creating a Bandi Schaum web site, but we do have an email account for members to contact the Steering Committee: bandishaum@gmail.com<\/a>.\u00a0 All gardeners should be visiting the blog regularly for updates and calendar information: http:\/\/bandishaum.wordpress.com\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n Carla Garfield reminded gardeners of the new garden sign-up and contract procedures and explained the necessity of a few changes in procedures.\u00a0 We can now manage the plots more efficiently and avoid having empty and\/or neglected plots.\u00a0 By now, all gardeners who had garden plots last year have been contacted.<\/p>\n Reminder: gardeners must bring a check or $10 cash with them when they come to pick up their city contracts, sign the BS rules, and choose their volunteer positions.\u00a0 Checks should be made out to SSSNA.<\/p>\n Duquesne students will be volunteering to spread mulch on April 12th<\/sup>.\u00a0 We need volunteers to run a car shuttle from Carson Street to the garden.<\/p>\n Planting Day is May 17th.
