Harvest Celebration!!

From Brennan, who is planning the festivities:

Saturday, September 28th at 5 pm we will all be meeting at the community garden to celebrate what I hope was a successful growing season for everyone!
Around 6pm Isaac Hill will arrive and start playing Appalachian music for everyone’s entertainment. I am waiting to hear back from another performer to see if we will have multiple musicians for the evening.
The event will last until sundown or everyone leaves.
This is a potluck event with 5 categories.
1– finger food and appetizers
2– main dish
3– dessert
4– drinks
5– plates,silverware,napkins,trash bags
Not everyone who plans on attending needs to being a food dish but we would appreciate a bit of help with set up and break down or assistance keeping category 5 stocked.
I don’t know exactly how we can stay in touch so that everyone doesn’t bring the same category but usually pot lucks work out fine with enough people.
If you would like to grill on site we ask that you bring your own small grill and clean it up at the end of the event.
Alcohol is allowed at the gathering as long as it is brought for personal consumption. Please remember that this is a family friendly event.
Also, please remember to mark what you have brought. I.e. vegan, vegetarian, meat, gluten free, ect.
If anyone has any solar lights for the twilight hours and decorations that they would like to offer up for the evening please send me a personal email and we can coordinated the plans.
If you have anymore questions of suggestions my email is
Hope to see you all there!
